The error messages seen in the Workflows Execution History can be cryptic to understand. To help you figure out what they mean, we created a list of the most common errors you may encounter.

The input is missing a number under “value”. Please define a value that is a numerical digit (e.g. 5 instead of five). |

The link, photo, or file attachment is missing a corresponding URL. If you want to upload an image or file, please upload it first to the Document Library and link the URL to the attachment. |

The inputs under “Rule” and “Value” in your Branching step cannot be compared. Please select comparable inputs. (e.g. date and date, number and number, text and text.) |

Special characters (e.g. $,%,/) and emojis cannot be used in file names. |
