Slack is the collaboration hub that brings the right people, information, and tools together to get work done. Used by many companies to optimize their desk worker communications, the Slack platform provides topic based channels and peer to peer messaging for a seamless operational experience.
With Slack's consideration paid mostly to the connected desk worker, Slack and Beekeeper are naturally symbiotic as Beekeeper is focused more on the non-desk employee. However, with many corporate teams utilizing Slack, there exists the need to mirror information across both platforms.
With any workforce spread across multiple platforms, content parity is a natural concern. The following two use cases highlight how you can streamline your companies communications to maximize productivity and minimize duplicate tasks.
Sharing Announcements From Slack to Beekeeper
This integration can make sharing content and seeing engagement simple and clear. To post to Beekeeper from slack requires three easy steps.
- In Slack, hover over the post you wish to share and select Share to Beekeeper from the menu of actions.
- Enter a title for the post and select the Beekeeper Stream you wish to post to.
- Click Submit and Slack with confirm the successful post to Beekeeper!
Once a post has been shared with Beekeeper, frontline employees can engage with the content using the full suite of features Beekeeper provides, like translations, comments and likes! Comments on the shared post in Beekeeper also are mirrored back to Slack with the users name even if the employee doesn't have a Slack license.
Engagement through Beekeeper can be viewed by a Slack user without leaving the platform through comment parity shown below.
Sharing Form Submissions from Beekeeper to Slack
Getting feedback and gathering data from your workforce has never been easier with Beekeeper forms. However, with many of the key decision makers spending more time behind a desk than on the frontline, it can often be clunky to export that valuable data into a desk oriented format. This problem is solved with the Beekeeper Slack integration, as form submission data can now be directly sent to the the Slack platform without the help of third party tools as shown in the following screen shots.
