There are five types of users that can access the Dashboard: Global Admins, Group Admins, Stream Admins and Content Moderators.
Global Admins have access to all user information and all features of the Dashboard. They also have the ability to assign Global, Group or Stream Admin access to any other user in the platform.
Location Admins have full administrator rights for their Location, including User Management, Navigation Extensions and Stream or Group creation. Locations are most often used to represent branches, sites or physical locations, and allow users in those locations to view content relevant to them.
Org Unit Admin - If you have lots of locations, you can group locations into organisational units. This will allow you to assign an Org Unit Admin, who can manage all of the locations within their org unit. E.g. you could give a country manager the ability to manage users at all locations within their country by giving them org unit admin permissions.
Group Admins have access to the Dashboard but only to the users assigned to their specific group. Depending on which plan you are currently on (About the Beekeeper plan types), they can also send Campaigns and Surveys, set up Worker Bees, and see the Analytics for their particular group. Group Admins can also add users to their group and create new users in their group, but you can remove this permission if you don't want them to be able to do this.
Stream Admins have access to the Dashboard but only to the settings associated with the particular Stream they have been assigned to, as well as that Stream’s analytics. Additionally, they gain certain functionality within the Stream itself, such as moderation capabilities, scheduling posts to be published in advance, and pinning posts to the top of the stream.
Content Moderators have similar access to the Dashboard to Stream Admins, with the exception that they can not add/remove users or access the permissions settings of the stream. They can however, moderate posts, schedule and pin posts, as well as access analytics for any stream they are assigned to.
It is important to note that one user can be both a Group Admin and a Stream Admin/Content Moderator. If they are already a Global Admin, they do not need to be made a Group Admin or Stream admin as they already have all the access rights of both of the other roles. See the detailed table below listing the capabilities of each admin.
